JAMES EDDIE BAREFOOT -- James Eddie “Foot” Barefoot passed away on November 4, 2010. He worked for Arrow Bonding LLC. and Redmond Tax Services. He was a long time member of the SCBAA. He was also a member of the Johnsonville Rescue Squad. Surviving are his children Carl Bryant, Jeffrey Barefoot and Janie Barefoot. His parents James C. and Cheryl H. Barefoot and his fiancé Julia Cook.

KATHY VALKENBURG -- Kathy Valkenburg died June 26,2010. She was a new member of the SCBAA and owner of Alliance Bonding Co. She was the daughter of Robert “Bobby” Brookshire and the late Virginia Hemby Brookshire. She is survived by her sons, Matthew & Patrick Valkenburg, her father Robert and step mother Carolyn Brookshire.

HUGH WHITE --  Hugh Anthony White Sr. departed this life on May 18, 2010. He was a SCBAA Hall of Fame member. Hugh was founder and owner of ABC Bonding Company Inc. in Columbia SC. He was among the first African American Professional Bail Bondsman in South Carolina. He was a life member of the Professional Bail Agents of the United States (PBUS). With his wife Edith, he contributed financially and supported the SCBAA with his many years of experience in the bonding industry. Hugh is survived by his wife Edith, two daughters Trinai D & Edith “Anna” and two sons Hugh Anthony Jr. & Hugh Alexander “Alex” all of Columbia, SC.

MIKE T. FALLAW -- Mike passed away August 25, 2010. Mike served in the Army National Guard and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Leesville, SC. He was a member of the SCBAA Hall of Fame. Mike also served as the SCBAA President for many years and help merge the SCBAA in what it is today. He was a great supporter of the SCBAA and the bail bonding industry. Mike owned A-1 Bonding Enterprises. He leaves behind his wife of 55 years, Mrs. Mary Fallw and a host of family including children and grandchildren.

SHELTON SINGLETARY -- Mr. Shelton Singletary, entered into eternal rest on the morning of April 20, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Stacey Singletary, father of Taylor Pinckney, son of John and Helen Singletary, brother of LeMona Hickson, TeLisa (LaGary) Simpson, John (Carla) Singletary and Larry (Gale) Singletary.
